Neurotoxins
This form of treatment includes Botox, Dysport, Xeomin and Nuceiva. It is excellent for the prevention and treatment of wrinkles to the upper face and lower face, especially if they are started early enough and maintained over time. The effects of neurotoxin treatment are usually apparent around 3-10 days, and repeat treatments are needed approximately every 3-4 months. Neurotoxin is used for the treatment of other conditions such as hyperhydrosis (excessive underarm sweating) and TMJ.
Fillers
Fillers are commonly used to replace volume loss, soften deep folds, reduce wrinkles, restore volume to the lips and lip border, or enlarge the lips. A filler can also be utilized to enhance the shape of the cheeks, chin, and jawline. Results are immediate. The body eventually absorbs fillers, and the longevity is dependent on the area injected, quantity used, and one's own natural ability in metabolizing the substance.
Deoxycholic Acid
Deoxycholic acid is a medication used to dissolve fat, for instance in the submental area, which you may know as the "double chin." The results are permanent. 1-4 treatments are typically required for desired results.

As a Nurse Practitioner, I offer select primary care services for those who are not rostered to a Health Care Practitioner. Some of these services include but are not limited to prescriptions renewals (no controlled substances), paperwork completion, minor assessments, and medical skin care concerns.
