Sarah Desousa (formerly RIchardson)

Nurse Practitioner - Medical Director of Care and owner of belle aesthetics

 I graduated from the Master’s of Science in Nursing combined Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner Program from the University of Ottawa in 2021. With this training, I received advanced education and skills with a focus on providing health promotion and disease prevention. It was one of my goals since becoming a Registered Nurse (RN) in 2012 to complete this advanced training.

Through my nursing career I have gained experience working in various settings, with my most recent experience being in Labour and Delivery and Primary Care. I thoroughly enjoy helping others, and using my advanced training to help promote individuals health and wellbeing. This is one of the reasons why I have started a career path in medical aesthetics. Through the Canadian Nursing Association recognized certification program with THMA, I received expert training to become a skilled medical aesthetic practitioner. I believe that with this expert knowledge I can continue my love for health promotion by helping individual’s achieve confidence with natural looking cosmetic injections.
